CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Chair Yoga offers a practical alternative to mat yoga for people with varying abilities. When practiced regularly, it can improve overall health, increase flexibility and strengthen personal body awareness. This practice is beneficial for individuals looking to reduce stress and pain through breathing and relaxation techniques. Chair yoga allows a stabilized, gentle practice that includes breath work, mental clarity and focus. This is an ideal exercise for ANY-BODY who may have trouble moving through the traditional up and down sequences of mat yoga.
This class runs as a 4 week series (month to month)
$60.00 for 1 class per week pre-registration/payment is required.
CLASS: PRENATAL YOGA Private Sessions

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This yoga practice is devoted to becoming aware of changes in a pregnant body and how to adapt to these changes in your body. We will cultivate awareness of body and breath to draw on as a resource prior, during and post labor. You can expect to explore a variety of hip opening and stretching postures while discovering ways to focus on soothing the common discomforts of pregnancy.
6 Sessions for $200.00 (includes HST) Pre-registration/payment is required.

CLASS: AFTER SCHOOL KIDS YOGA

This playful after school yoga class will interweave story, song, games and poses allowing children to learn in a cooperative, fun, active, non-competitive manner. Each class is carefully planned to celebrate childhood, joy, movement, self expression, and trust.
Classes will incorporate poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises with a goal of cultivating a calm mind, increasing body awareness, strength, flexibility, and balance while helping children feel happier and more peaceful inside. The use of props including breathing balls, Meddy Teddy, eye pillows and more add to the fun, making this class feel safe and approachable for all children.
Children will learn tools to assist them in managing stress in their daily lives, improve their concentration and help them develop inner awareness and self regulation and self esteem. Class will end with a period of relaxation including guided meditation/visualization.
